Whey Protein Shake -
Viewing: So you have been working out and want to find out how much EAS protein you should be taking on a daily basis. Well, it all depends... How much EAS 100% whey protein powder should you add to your shakes each day? The answer is that it varies for everyone. There is no easy way to determine the exact amount of protein that you should consume on a daily basis. It all depends on variable factors such as your goals, your genetic make-up, your workout schedules and your eating plan. As a general rule of thumb though, many bodybuilders recommend consuming 1 gram of EAS protein powder for every pound that you weigh. So if you weigh 150 pounds, you should be taking protein in the levels of 150 grams. Of course, that's the total amount of protein for the entire day. Your protein shakes are meant as supplements. So include them in your calculations. Also, don't forget that bodybuilders sometimes recommend higher consumption because the focus is on building bigger muscles. And you can't really grow big and strong without an adequate amount of nutrition. If you are a beginner, try taking just 1 serving (30 grams / 1 scoop) of EAS protein powder per day. Consume your protein shake even on non-workout days. This is important for muscle growth and recovery. Try it for about 4 weeks, and observe how your body is responding. If you are seeing good results, you may then consider increasing the amount of EAS protein you are taking each day. For example, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, you can take 2 whey protein shakes instead of just one. Otherwise, you need to go back to the drawing board to find out what's wrong. More serious athletes consume a higher amount or protein powder after intensive training to help them achieve their peak before the actual competition. Of course, everything is measured. You don't want to put on too much weight if you are taking part in an endurance event! |
